Discover the story that connects two photos

Select any two photographs and PhotoCore builds a sequence of real images from your own archive that connects them: a visual and semantic path from the starting point to the destination that reveals hidden connections and narrative steps.

In action

From a search to an experience of exploration

Select two images, choose how many intermediate steps you want and where to look for them — the current folder, your search results, or the whole library. The bridge naturally crosses moments and subjects that act as a bridge between the two ends.

Pick two ends

From the action bar choose any two photos — the start and the end of the path. Decide how many intermediate stops you want and the scope to search them in: the selection only, your search results, or the whole library.

Semantic Bridge — Snapshot
From similarity to continuity

Not "which photos look like this", but "which connect these two"

Most visual search systems answer a simple question. Semantic Bridge tackles a different, richer one.

Similarity search

"Which images are similar to this one?" Useful, but it stops at local resemblance.

Semantic Bridge

"Which images connect these two concepts?" It finds the best intermediate steps and preserves the overall meaning of the transition.

Concrete use cases

A tool for discovering relationships

Find "a story" between two photos

From a ceremony to a final toast: the bridge reconstructs the narrative sequence of the event and hands you a mini-story ready to assemble into a slideshow or a client gallery.

Reveal unexpected paths in your archive

Connect a winter mountain shot to a summer beach: the bridge often crosses surprising steps — a sunset, a trail, a cloud — that you'd never have thought to relate.

Show how different themes converge

In a reportage spanning months, highlight the narrative links inside an event or how different subjects meet over time — a new way to read your own work.

The technology, briefly

An emergent property of the semantic space

Semantic Bridge is built on SigLIP 2 embeddings, an advanced multimodal model that — trained on enormous amounts of images and descriptions — builds a space where related content occupies nearby regions. On this geometry, computed on-device on the Apple Neural Engine, the bridge applies no rules specific to weddings, trips or events: the connections emerge spontaneously from the structure the model has learned. That's what makes it far deeper than a similarity search — and something standard products, based on tags or folders, simply can't do.

Only your images, only on your Mac. Every bridge uses exclusively photos that actually exist in your archive, and no pixel ever leaves your computer.
