PhotoCore 1.7: your library, finally yours
The problem it solves: years of memories locked in Apple Photos and iCloud, without a copy that is truly yours. 1.7 brings them out (verified, organized, searchable) and opens search to RAW archives.

Archive Apple Photos
A verified archive, not an export: PhotoCore copies originals and current edits from your System Photo Library, verifies every file by reading it back from disk after writing, and organizes everything into folders by year and month. They are regular files: they open in Finder, with or without PhotoCore. Albums become open metadata, and each run ends with a report you can read in any browser.
It updates without starting over: later runs add only what is new. Deleting in Apple Photos never touches your archive: those shots stay, marked “No longer in Photos · preserved in your archive”. And photos stored only in iCloud are downloaded during archiving, never any upload.
RAW everywhere
CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF and DNG now appear in the grid, in semantic search and in Stories, across every indexed folder. The embedded preview is read without developing the file: fast even with thousands of 45-megapixel shots, and the original stays untouched.
Declared behavior and limits
- An archive updates only from the Mac that created it
- Destinations are checked: exFAT warning, FAT32 and network drives declined
- Pause and resume anytime, even after a restart
- Archiving the whole library requires PhotoCore Full (one-time purchase)
